Paris is an alumna of the prestigious Morgan State University class of 2014, where she received a Bachelor of Social Work. While upholding a 3.4 GPA throughout her matriculation Paris was inducted into the Chi Alpha Epsilon Honors Society. She became very involved in the university’s organizations, including the KUUMBA mentoring program. Through this program Paris had the opportunity to uplift, encourage and empower the youth of Baltimore, Maryland. Upon graduating, Paris decided to further her education at Temple University, receiving a Master’s of Social Work with a concentration in Children Youth and Families. As a result of her academic excellence, she was accepted into the Alpha Delta Mu Honors society with a GPA of 3.72, which gave her the privilege of participating in community outreach and serving the inner city of Philadelphia.
Paris is currently working at a children’s mental health agency where she is serving as a family support worker, providing family therapy and case management support to families in need. She plans to further expand her career by studying to obtain her social work licensure, in hopes to one day provide mental health services to young girls through dance, mindfulness and movement.
