If you know me, you know that when I sit in the passenger seat of a car I am always paying close attention to the mirror to see what is behind me and when I was at the peak of my depression I felt like I was in the passenger seat of my life. I couldn't stop looking at the mirror. All I did every day was reflect and think about all the mistakes I made and how better my life would be if I made different decisions. The moon is peeking out from behind the car as a reminder of all my past mistakes. If I keep paying attention to the mirror, which is a symbol of my past, I will keep reminding myself of everything I did wrong. However, if I pay attention to the road ahead, in the graphic and in my life, I will see that there is so much to do and be excited about. This graphic is meant to show how easy it is to get caught up in focusing on the past because when you first look at it you give your undivided attention to the mirror and its contents before analyzing anything else.

My message for anyone that is reading this post and currently focused on bad decisions they made in the past is to realize that everything happens for a reason. Treat the decision you made as a lesson learned and not a setback. Please understand that no one is perfect, even you and you are allowed to make mistakes. Regardless of how big, mistakes are an essential part of life and growth and most of life's lessons or beauties have come from mistakes. The result of one of the biggest mistakes I made in my life has been AKB and today I can honestly say I am happy I made that mistake.

Everyone needs someone, I am here for you and want to hear what you have to say. Don't live in your mistakes, grow from them.
